This hotel really impressed me with its attention to detail and value for money. The rooms were clean, spacious, and had a nice balcony with a view of the valley. I loved the fact that some rooms had both a double and single bed, making it convenient for families or larger groups. The staff were friendly and the service was top-notch. The breakfast buffet had a good selection, including sufficient vegetarian options. The location on the slope above the village provided a beautiful and serene setting.
A couple of minor issues, but nothing that ruined my overall experience.

A lovely hotel in a very pretty location. Good hotel amenities - pool, sauna, steam room etc.... Excellent buffet breakfast. Easy access to town center.
Outside of hotel is looking very tired !! The woodwork could do with a coat of sadolin. When we first visited back in 2005 every balcony had window boxes full of flowers. Non at all this year - last year was also the same. Hope this will now be put right by Best Western. Also when booking it would have been nice to have been told that it was to change ownership during our stay. !

Comfortable, spacious room, nice view when it wasn't raining. Price was reasonable ... good value for the money. Breakfast was very good. Easy and hassle-free to take the streetcar into Karlsruhe for shopping.
Parking was very difficult for an SUV (our rental vehicle) in the parking garage. Sometimes parking was not available at all in the parking garage, but there was no way to know that until you were in the garage and then it was difficult to manoevre to come out. A map showing where you can park for free close to the hotel would have been very helpful. Manager/host in the dining room was quite rude and abrupt when we said we didn't want to have dinner there (it was crowded, no personal space for quiet dining). Internet WiFi in the room would have been a lot more convenient than having to sit in the lobby area.

The restaurant of this hotel is truly breathtaking – it offers a panoramic view of the village nestled on the slope below. the food is delicious, and the attentive staff enhances the dining experience. the location is spectacular and is easily accessible by the last stop on the S-Bahn line.
The service could be more welcoming, and the hotel prices are much too expensive compared to what is offered.

the bar downstairs is the best part of this hotel as well as the view from the balcony.
We were quite dissappointed by this hotel. It really needs a good renovation. The swimmingpool is very very small and the fitness did not exist any more ( adapt this Booked.net!)To park took us almost half an hour. It was difficult to get our big car tucked away somewhere. The village is good if you want silence but for the rest there is as good as nothing to do.

The hotel is located in a picturesque village in the middle of the beautiful Black Forest, where you can enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay. the staff is friendly and attentive, and the breakfast buffet is varied and delicious, with fresh fruit and tasty pastries. the rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a balcony that offers stunning views of the surrounding forest.
There is no air conditioning in the rooms, which can be a problem during the summer months when temperatures can rise. the bathroom is also a bit dated, and could benefit from some modernization.

Breakfast and dinner very good , the personal very helpful ,in general good conditions but not for this price .
We was to the pool with the kids and the water was cold in a time when outside was 13 C , the double room had 2 beds which made noise every time we moved . I don`t believe that the price they ask for a room it`s right for the conditions that they have there . It`s OK to stay there for 2 - 3 nights but I didn`t want o spend more

During my recent stay at a hotel in the Black Forest, I was pleasantly surprised by Parkhotel Luise. The check-in process was quick and the staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful.
